This is a system that rings all your phones at once, or sequentially, till the phone is answered or you route the caller to voicemail.

How does Find-me Follow-me work?

Find-me Follow-me is a pretty cool technology that lets your calls find you wherever you are. How this usually works, is that the caller calls a virtual phone number that you have set up as your main number. A virtual number can be a local phone number, or a toll free number, and is called virtual only because it isn't tied to any one phone. Toll free numbers have always been virtual, in that any phone in the US, or Canada, can be set as the ring-to number, but that feature wasn't commonly available for regular numbers until the last few years with advances in VoIP technology.

With a Find-me Follow-me service, like the ones offered by RingCentral and eVoice, calls can be routed through a list of the caller's phone numbers in a preset sequence, or all at once, based on user set parameters like time of day or the caller ID of the person calling. If the call isn't answered, it eventually goes to voice mail where some systems will transcribe it into text and email it to the user's account.
